Executive Committee

We would like to offer our sincere thanks to the out-going Executive Committee. They received their presentations last Saturday in recognition of their commitment, hard work and valued contribution to the club.  Thank you on behalf of all the members.

Turkey Tournaments

Entries are now open for the Turkey Tournaments via Easy Payments.  Registration is €10 per event.  These include:

1.      Men – Sunday 5th December starting at 9am

2.      Ladies – Sunday 5th December starting at 11:30am

3.      Mixed – Sunday 12th December starting at 1pm

The weather might be chilly, but the welcome will be warm for this event which will be run outdoors with mince pies and festive cheer, organised by Isabella and Sarah.  We’ll be needing a bit of help - so volunteers can sign up on the notice board in the club house to either bring a plate of goodies or a pair of hands to help on the day.

·  Bring a Plate Volunteers – We are asking for three Sweet and three Savoury (finger food) for each event.

·  Helpers  – We are looking for 2 men and 2 ladies to help serve drinks and treats on the day (in between their matches of course) and to help with clearing up afterwards.

The closing date for entries in the Men’s and Ladies events is Thursday 2nd December, and entries close for the Mixed tournament on Thursday 9th December.

Club Night

Thursday’s Club Night will be hosted by Breege Clancy with Stephen in attendance. Thanks to Breege and we think she might even have a cuppa for anyone who joins in tonight!

Covid Officer

We are deeply grateful to Siobhan Coburn who took on this role for the last year and who supported all the decisions made regarding our safety through covid. We now need someone who would be willing to step into her shoes for the coming months. If you would be willing to take on this role please could you leave your name into Anne in the office and one of the committee members will be in touch.
