Please see below our notices for the coming week.

Turkey Tournaments

We had a total of 48 members take part in the Ladies’ and Men’s Turkey Tournaments last Sunday.  It was a very festive atmosphere with great tennis and even nicer goodies to eat, with Christmas music playing in the background.  This Sunday is the Mixed event starting at 1pm.  Remember that sign up closes today on Easy Payments.  Any difficulties please let Craig or Clodagh know.

Helpers will be needed on the day so if you can help please add your name to the list on the notice board.

Ladies Christmas Morning

The ladies committee extend a special invitation Next Wednesday 15th.   

There will be social tennis followed by presentations to the winners of the Box competition, a presentation to the CRY charity, and an appreciation to Karen Ivory for her tenure as Lady Captain.  Wrap up warmly and come along for a cuppa, mince pie and catch up with the ladies in the club.

Winter League Sign-up

Winter League 2021 has only just finished with Monkstown featuring in the Finals on the 14th November and winning the Class 2 Ladies section with promotion to Class 1.

And almost immediately we are into Winter League 2022.  The first match will be played on Sunday 30th January and will run for 5 weeks.  Finals will be held on the 27th March.

Sign-up sheets are on the notice board in the club house.  League Coaching will commence mid-January.  We will have further details in the New Year.

Opening & Locking Up Rota

As Arek will be on a well deserved holiday in Poland, we will need volunteers to assist with the opening and locking of the club from 15th December – 7th January.  Please contact Anne in the office if you are available on any date.

Light Tokens

We wish to advise members that the current free light cards will not be valid after 1st January, 2022.  From that date members will have to purchase replacement cards

Club Night 

Thursday’s Club Night will be hosted by Isabella or Declan with Stephen in attendance.
