Hi Folks!

I hope you're all easing into that extra bit of freedom we're enjoying....there is a definite feeling of positivity in the air ....super to be served a bite to eat  - and dare I say it, a pint! -  after all these months...and planning holidays...all so well deserved.

Lots of activity on the tennis court - what with Adult Training - Junior Coaching and the latest group of Teenagers enjoying their sessions.

Would you believe next week is the last week of Junior Coaching - 8 weeks done and dusted - time is just flying by!

The first Summer Camp is scheduled for week commencing 28th June.

A special email will be sent out over the next few days re the Supervised tennis details through the end of June and the months of July and August.

Exciting news from Chicago...our own Julie Byrne graduates, would you believe tomorrow, having completed her Masters after 5 great years in college over there. Brian would love to have made the trip over but for obvious reasons is unable to , but her sister Maeve will be there to support her at this special occasion. Huge Congrats Julie!  I hear your plan is to head straight to London.. but hope to be back here on holiday in July/August.   Can't wait to see you on court again!

More honour and glory for our young members...Rachel Hartnett made the big breakthrough last weekend making her debut on the Dublin Senior Ladies football team...wishing you many years of success and enjoyment at this high level..Congrats Rachel!

Dylan Ryan, who was selected to play for Leinster U/19's last year, but due to COVID no matches were played,  last week  got word that he has been selected for the U/20's with a number of matches scheduled over the next couple of months. Congrats Dylan...Here's to a great future on the Rugby field!

Very proud of so many of our young members succeeding so well both on the Sports field and Academically...don't be shy to let me know if we have any other "stars" unknown to me!

Lovely to look out the window at the sunshine...a group of Ladies getting training on one court...on another court our Teens are hitting away...and on another court a very competitive doubles, made up of our special octogenarians!!

That's it for this week....Hope the Leaving Exams are going ok for those involved.. Good Luck!

   Warm  regards
