Snippets 10/09/20

As things get back to the new "normal"......kids back at school - holidays over - it's great that as their Captaincy of a very unusual year comes to a close Ciaran & Helen are running an internal tournament. They tell me they've had a huge response, with the deadline being next Sunday the 13th.  They will meet next week to select teams and will communicate all details by this time next week.  

The Mens Winter League Final is scheduled for Sunday 20th in Naas.  Fingers crossed that by that date supporters might be allowed attend!

The Ladies Morning Committee are excited to confirm that Ladies Morning will be back in action on Wednesday next the 16th @ 10am.   The regular coaching session from 9 - 10am will recommence in a couple of weeks.

The Group / Squad Coaching starts from next Monday the 14th...Coaching fees will be paid through Easy Payments which will be active within the next week or two...you will be kept informed.

As our popular "Golden Oldies" night was another victim of Covid-19, the Committee have decided to donate €500.00 (the balance from the Championships as there were no Bowl events) to the charity CRY - the Charity which Mick & Breege are heavily involved in.  They deeply appreciate the gesture.

Best of luck to Harry (Crossan) as he heads off to Belgium on his Erasmus year. Sounds all very interesting for you. You'll be sorely missed, Harry, when the Leagues are back in action for your super commitment , competitiveness & sportsmanship on court.
