Snippets 14/05/20
3 days to go til your dreams come true!! An enormous amount of work has been put in by the Executive Committee and various sub-committees to have everything in readiness for Opening Day.
We are so lucky as tennis players to be one of the first sports to be given the opportunity to play again....but with it comes a huge responsibility. We will be very much monitored to see we keep to the strict guidelines that we have been given. I have no doubt that our members will adhere to all protocols. The full list of MLTC rules (as per Gov. & Tennis Ireland) are on the website.
To summarise:
No Cars will be admitted to the club
On arrival for your game use the sanitisers which are placed on the wall of the clubhouse and are numbered for each court...and use same after your game..but it is advisable to bring your own sanitiser. ...and water bottle.
Please bring your own tennis balls and mark them with your initials.
Take note that your game should finish 10 minutes before the hour to allow the next players arrive.
The most critical rule of all is KEEP YOUR 2 METER DISTANCE.
