Snippets 16/04/20

Hi Folks!

Well one Bank Holiday done and dusted....one more on the horizon and then maybe...just maybe a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel on May 5th.  There was an interesting article in the Irish Times yesterday re the posibility of Golf Courses being one of the first sports to be opened up... I'd put tennis in that category as well, being a non contact sport....maybe just wishful thinking!

My heart goes out to our Student members  - and their parents -  who are just about to start their college exams... very best of luck to you all.

I know we have quite a few medics in the club who are working in the front line caring for patients of this dreadful Virus....you are special people and we're very proud  of your selflessness... Do take care of yourselves.

Sorry that the Snippets get shorter and shorter...but they're just a reminder of your favourite place!

But I've very exciting news to end with this week!  Denis Feighery has become a Dad!  His lovely wife Grace gave birth to Baby Eli on Easter Sunday and both are healthy and well... Congrats to Grandad Aiden & Granny Gene also!  Young Richie Kennedy & Harry Craig watch out....I'd say baby Eli will have a cool forehand like his Dad!!
