Snippets 9/07/20

Much to the excitement & anticipation of our Captains Helen & Ciaran the first bit of competitive tennis since before March is with us with the Senior Handicaps starting next Saturday the 11th.  As with everything it'll be a little different this year...shorter sets...little social interaction...but  the ever popular BBQ will be held  on Saturday 25th.....even still it's great to see such a large entry.  The sign up sheet for the BBQ will be on the main Notice Board from next Wednesday the 15th.  Helen & Ciaran asked me to remind all competitors to arrive promptly for their matches.  The check-in desk will be situated just outside the office. The Draw and schedule will be posted on the website on Friday.

Another welcome return is Men’s Morning from next Sunday the 12th .... 10am - 12 noon courts 4, 5 & 6 booked for you guys.

The Ladies Morning Committee have asked me to mention that as always Ladies Morning is suspended for the summer months....but they are already planning a big welcome back come  September!

Despite the dreadful weather of the last week the Juniors have been having a super time....
the kids in Stephen's Camp are having a ball.  Supervised Tennis with Adrienne and Anna / Lucy is also proving very popular. All Juniors are also adhering to the guidelines to which we are very appreciative of.
More excitement for our Juniors are the upcoming Junior Championships  being run from Monday 27th - Friday 31st July...with no Handicap event this year we are hoping for a big entry...  Entry is now open.Please entry through the link below. Closing Date is Friday 17th July
