Club Notices
As we look forward to the June Bank Holiday weekend, we hope that the weather will be kind to us, especially for the Parent and Child Tournament on Monday and a reminder that there will be no courts available for casual play between 12 and 3pm.
We wish the very best to all those young students who are doing exams in the coming weeks and do take an odd break for a game of tennis – it will free up the mind!!
Court Maintenance
Kevin has scheduled essential court maintenance for next Thursday 9th June where there will be only 3 courts available between 8am to 4pm. There may be some juggling of the courts booked as the contractors move between the 6 courts but there will be 3 courts available each hour for booking during those times.
Summer Schedule and Court Availability
We will advise shortly of court availability during daytime hours for the summer months. Please also note that Adrienne and Karen will be providing summer supervision from the 20th June to the 26th August with more details to follow in the next few weeks.
Summer League
Some good results again this week for the ladies and men’s teams and we hope that as we approach the 5th week of summer league that we may have some teams in contention for the play-offs. Best of luck everyone.
Men’s Morning
Courts 4, 5, and 6 will be available this Sunday from 10am - 12 noon.
5 Mile League
Congratulations to the team who played on Sunday evening with a win all round for the Monkstown team.
Junior News
The Junior Committee remind you that the Parent and Child Tournament will be held on Monday 6th June from 12 – 3pm. The sign-up sheet is on the notice board and the contribution will be €20 per family entering. The funds raised will be in aid of T4C (Tennis for Cancer) which is headed up by our own club member Grace Owens. Please bring along a plate of goodies if you are attending.
A reminder that there will be no Junior coaching this Sunday or bank holiday Monday.
A reminder also that the Summer Camp schedule is on the website and booking can be made via Easy Payments.
Club Night
Club night tonight will be hosted by Deirdre Hornshaw. Do come along on a lovely bright evening with an opportunity to meet and play with members of varying standards for a relaxed evening of tennis.
We look forward to having Carol Kelly join the MLTC admin team from next week. Best of luck Carol in your new role from all the members!
Have a great Bank Holiday weekend and enjoy the finals of the French Tennis Open.
