LADIES FLOODLIGHT LEAGUE - Report
Huge congratulations to our class 3 floodlight team who won their play off last night v Elm Park 1 to reach the quarterfinals of floodlight league
Captain Isabelle Blake , Nicole O 'Connell, Ciara MacKenna and Elizabeth McGee played super tennis last night .
Supported along the way with subs Karen MacKenna and Jana Stevenson the team will play (away) to Celbridge next Tuesday evening

We are limited to 24 men & women and places are filling up fast so sign up ASAP.

MEN’S COACHING – Monday Evenings
A reminder that coaching for class 4 to class 7 players runs every Monday evening at 9pm. Next session will be on Monday November 11th. New members / players are always welcome - come along and give it a go!! The younger lads are welcome too!! The dads might even bring their sons along! LADIES BOX DOUBLES COMPETITION
Delighted to announce an overwhelmingly positive sign up to the new format of the popular doubles boxes which we had to close at 100 entries.
All details on newsflash 5th November .Deadline for all matches to be played by 18th December.

All 5 of the Charity League teams played this week we had 4 wins bagging an impressive 9 points for MLTC.

Club night as usual this evening so do come along anytime between 8pm and 10pm for a social game, and Stephen will get things started at 8pm!

Men's tennis morning on this Sunday morning 10am to 12. Do come down and have a hit and a coffee!

Very encouraging League Results from our younger players!
Junior League: Girls U/18 Class 2
Congrats to Isobel & Zoe Craig (Capt) - Anna Hayes & Zoe Roberts on winning their 1/4 final match. They play their Semi v Templeogue on Sunday next, the 10th, Away @ 5pm...best of luck girls!
Boys U/18 Class 2
Congrats to Richie Kinsella (Capt) - Ronan Bolger - Aaron Dunne & Christian O'Flynn who also won their 1/4 match. They also play their Semi on Sunday next At home @ 5pm - no opposition confirmed yet...best of luck lads.

What more honours can our own Conor Niland get for his book "The Racket!"
He has just been nominated for "William Hill Sports Book of the Year".
The William Hill Sports Book of the Year award is dedicated to rewarding excellence in sports writing and was first awarded in 1989. This year, the prize for winning the award will be £30,000.
The winner will be announced on Tuesday, November 19th.
A huge honour for you Conor...we'll all be rooting for you.
Conor has been shortlisted for the "An Post Irish Book Awards" as well.
Sinead Moriarty has also been shortlisted for her book "Fixing Mum and Dad" in the Children's Book of the Year (Senior) category.
"The Racket" is in both the Listeners Choice Award category plus the Eason Sports Book of the Year category.
