MLTC Club Notices 12.01.23

WINTER LEAGUE

Winter league teams have now been selected by the Captains, together with their selection committees, and teams are being notified this week.  League coaching has been arranged for the duration of the league campaign.

On the ladies side it was very encouraging to see such a large number sign up for teams and we would like to wish all  MLTC teams a successful campaign.

Don’t forget to sign-up for the League Coaching.

MENS MORNING 

Mens morning will take place this Sunday 10am to 12pm.  This is for men of all standards who can come play a good game of tennis and have a cuppa and a chat after.



LADIES MORNING

Ladies morning will take place next Wednesday 18th January from 10am to 12pm and will be hosted by Sheila Roche. All levels welcome for a fun morning of tennis so please do come along.

UPDATE FROM HEAD COACH STEPHEN

Great to see many of our Juniors play in the National Indoor Championships.

Rosie Kennedy was just pipped in the Semi Final of the Girls' U/14 Singles by the No 2 seed.

Robyn Kennedy reached the Semi Final of the Girls' U/12...and like her sister, Rosie, put up a super challenge to the No 1 seed.

Great performances ...Well done!

Let's hope the weather improves a bit so we can get out on court and enjoy our tennis again!

JUNIOR NEWS

RED BALL (Beginners)
For the red ball fun play in 2023 we are offering 5 sessions starting on Friday the 13th January,  27th January, 10th Feb, 24th Feb and 10th March. Time 2.30-4pm. 5 sessions at €75.

The sign up is via easy payments. If you want to be added to the WhatsApp group for any updates please contact Jana Langford on 086/4043742.

JUNIOR MATCHPLAY DATES

Below are the match play dates for 2023.

All Fridays are from 4-6pm, except U15 yellow ball which is from 5-7pm. We’ll be looking for parents to help out with supervision on those days. Thank you.
