**CHANGE OF DATE – JUNIOR HANDICAPS

Please note that the dates have changed, they are moving from 3rd – 7th July to one week later 10th – 14th July

 

 

**IMPORTANT INFORMATION:  NEW DOOR PAD & CODE

We have had a new keypad installed – it is to the left of the door.

The new code for entry is available from the office.  When exiting, wave your hand beside the sensor to the right of the door to release the lock. (For security reasons we are not placing the code onto the website)

 

 

 

WINTER LEAGUE

Best wishes to all of our Winter league teams.  Matches start this Sunday Mornings for the men and Sunday afternoon for the afternoon..

All members are welcome to come support the teams.

 

 

MENS MORNING 

As Winter League starts this Sunday, all courts are taken for this from 10am to 12 (and some from 9.30)  Do come down for a cuppa and watch some great Mens matches.




LADIES MORNING

SAVE THE DATE - THURSDAY 9TH FEBRUARY 7.30PM

We would love to see you at our pre St Valentines Day Mixed Tennis Event

A fun evening of tennis, salsa and tapas.  Mixed pairings will be drawn, and when you're not on court you can learn some salsa steps!
More details to follow.

 

 

The Ladies Committee is delighted to welcome this year’s members Colette Langan, Marie McCullagh, Nicky Flavin, Elaine O’Toole & Jemma Houlihan.

Huge thanks to outgoing members Katie Legge, Yvonne Sutton, Genevieve Conway & Aoife Fay.

Ladies Mornings on Wednesdays at 10am. Sign Up sheet for hosts on the notice board.  Valentines Fun Tournament planned for 8th February.

In addition, it is that time of year again with Charity League starting 20/21st February. Sign Up sheets on the board until Sunday Jan 22nd and teams will be submitted next week. Please indicate unavailability (if any) when you are signing up. If you are unable to get to the club to sign up, feel free to contact Marie or Colette.

Please note U10 Green ball (9 – 10y) is on tomorrow 4pm – 6pm

 

 

CLOSING NOTE!!

The Australian Open was first played at the Warehouseman's Cricket Ground in St Kilda Road, Melbourne in 1905 as The Australasian Championships

 

The tournament was not held between 1916 and 1918, or 1940 and 1945, due to international conflicts happening at the time.
