SUPERCOACHING CHARITY EVENT
Due to last Thursday's appalling weather, our Supercoaching Charity Event has been rescheduled to take place on Thursday 23rd March at 7.45pm.
If you have booked for this event but can't make it on the new date, please let Carole Curtin (0879081963) or Aoife Stokes (0872754562) know. We're delighted that over 50 people have already signed-up!
All proceeds will be presented to a representative from GOAL on behalf of the victims of the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria. Enter the raffle for this worthy cause by leaving a donation in an envelope at the club office or by Revoluting our lady captain, Aoife Stokes. Lots of lovely prizes to be won!
COURT CLOSURE
We wish to advise members that DLR and our court contractors will be carrying out an initial inspection of the roots and bubbling on courts 4 and 5 today. They will be accessing the club via the laneway which will be closed to members for parking for the morning. The contractors will be rolling back the court carpet and will assess the level of root damage. Provisionally we have scheduled the week of the 27th March for the full removal of the roots on courts 4, 5, and 6 and following this inspection we may need to install a concrete barrier to minimise the risk of re-occurrence.
Members will be kept informed of all work to the courts in the coming weeks.
MEN’S MORNING
Men’s morning on Sunday will be on at the usual time of 10am until 12 this week.
Do come to enjoy a game, all standards welcome.
