The men will be delighted to hear that Mens morning is back this week from 10am.

Do come along to play and enjoy a cuppa after!

Early Risers Tennis

Please note that courts 1, 2 & 3 are the ONLY courts available to book at 7am.

Courts 4, 5 & 6 are NOT  to be used as it disturbs the Glandor neighbours.  This is most important!

Juniors

Note from Head Coach Stephen

Great to see such a  big entry for the Junior Championships.

The standard is of a very high level…  at every age group from U/12’s right through to U/18’s.  Very encouraging to see so many parents and grandparents giving such good support.

You should all be very proud of your off-springs for their sporting behaviour on court.

Finals Day on Saturday will be a very big occasion, so do come down and join in the atmosphere.

A special word of thanks to Karen & Lucy for their smooth running of the tournament….  And also to Anne Tweedy who was quietly working away in the background putting up results and schedules on the computer.

The Irish Junior Championships continue this week in Fitz.  The standard of tennis is quite remarkable…  very proud to see our Monkstown players performing so well.

Rosie Kennedy has reached the Semi Final of both the Singles & Doubles in the U/12 age group…  super achievement Rosie!  She plays her singles semi today and doubles tomorrow…  very best of luck!

Nice to see support during the week for all our players…  You did us proud!

Good Luck all,  Stephen
