Update from Head Coach Stephen
It was super to see so many Juniors partaking in the Easter Tournament last Friday. It was a huge success with over 50 kids participating - of all ages and standards. Well done all!
Again congrats to the many Juniors who played in the open tournaments over the Easter break - many entering for the first time.
At the Brookfield Open Zoe Craig reached the semis of the U/14 Singles - and Luke O'Callaghan won the U/14 Plate.
Last week at the National Junior Open in Templeogue Rosie Kennedy was just pipped in the Final of the U/14 doubles - and her sister Rosie reached the Semis of both the U/14 Singles & Doubles .
At the Templeogue Junior Open Mary O'Callaghan reached the Semis of the U/16 Singles.
A great representation from Monkstown...so start planning your summer around the many tournaments that are on the calendar!
Keep practising!
Stephen
