DISABILITY RAMP AND PATIO PROJECT
We wish to advise members that the ground work to install the disability ramp will commence in the club on Monday 4th December. The ramp design has been available on club notice board for some months and the work will also include an improved level path area in front of the patio doors with a ramped access to the function room and kitchen. Please refer to the attached pdf for further details..
All 6 courts will be available for the duration of the work although the access point to courts 4, 5, and 6 may be via gates at court 6 or court 1.
There will be signage and safety posters to highlight which areas of the club will be out of bounds.
We ask parents to ensure that younger members are fully supervised during this period of work for their safety.
Please note that the driveway will be closed for parking to allow the construction team access to the club and to locate a skip for disposal of waste.
Work is expected to take six weeks (finish mid-January 2024).
Please contact the office or a member of the executive team if you have any queries.

MEN’S "SUPER SINGLES" Tennis - Results from Friday November 17th
Mother Nature did just enough to help MLTC’s “super singles” men's tennis get off the ground on Friday last. Thanks to all 22 players for braving the elements to take part. A special word of thanks also to Carole Curtin for preparing a fantastic reception. All 11 matches (13 games per match) were finely balanced with the scores tied at 70-70 for a finish - refer to the table below. Those sharp with numbers may question the missing 3 points - blown away by the wind apparently!
Men's "super singles" tennis will make a return in 2024 once the winter leagues have wrapped up. All comments and feedback welcome - have a chat with Aaron Duffy, David Keane, and/or Declan Cotter.

Many thanks to the box coordinators Deirdre Hornshaw, Joanna Duffy, Elaine O Toole, Aislinn Cullen, Clodagh Kenny, Jacqui Byrne, Jo Farrelly and Sara Stevenson, who have all kindly agreed to help with this tournament.
