MEN’S MORNING – Sunday Mornings

Due to Senior League having many home matches this Sunday, unfortunately there will be no Men’s Morning this week.

MEN’S SENIOR LEAGUE (0/35s and 0/45s)

MLTC has three teams competing in the DLTC men's senior league (doubles tennis with matches played on Sunday afternoons). Last weekend, Team 1 (035/ class 1; captained by Stephen O'Shea) travelled to Fitzwilliam and picked up a useful point. Team 2 (O35 /class 3; captained by Bill Condon) had a super home win against Stratford and now top their group - kudos team 2!! Team 3 (O45 / Class 2; captained by Dermot Hayes) had a tough home encounter against table topping Deerpark. This weekend is the final round of group matches wherein Team 1 will host Malahide (1:30pm start) - a huge match for team 1 to stay up in class 1, Team 2 will travel to Terenure with a place in the playoffs beckoning, and Team 3 will travel to St. Marys looking for an away win - best of luck guys and go MLTC!

MEN’S FLOODLIGHT LEAGUE

MLTC has two teams (both at class 2) competing in the DLTC men's floodlight league (format contemplates a team of 4 players with two singles matches and one doubles match - matches played on Monday evenings at 7pm).  Team 1 (captained by Johnny O'Shea) had a great win on Monday last against the students from Trinity College. Team 2 (captained by David Keane) battled bravely against strong opposition from Sandycove. On Monday coming, Team 1 will travel to David Lloyd Riverview, and Team 2 will host Elm Park at home (7pm start). Come on down to the club to support David Keane and the guys on team 2.  Go MLTC!!

O60s LADIES LEAGUE

Another win in week 4 and already through to knock out stages…. 11 out of 12 points so far and one more week in group stage to go

LADIES SENIOR LEAGUE

We are now in the last week of Senior League before playoffs.

This league continues to be challenging but we have one team in a strong position to reach playoffs.

Everything to play for this week ladies – a strong final week will help avoid relegation

Best of luck to everyone involved!

LADIES FLOODLIGHT LEAGUE

Floodlight League started last Tuesday with the first and second teams winning their round one matches.

Best of luck to the 3 teams for next week!
