What a lovely week it has been for tennis with some lovely Autumn sunshine. As I write this our events co-ordinators Isabella and Sarah are beavering away in the function room in preparation for the T4C event this evening. Grace is working away to ensure everything is just right, the function room is beautifully set and ready to go and all I can say is that they are a super team! Well done ladies! We all hope your T4C evening is a great success

Ladies Senior League
Ladies’ 1st Team in Semi-Finals on Sunday
Our Monkstown Ladies 1st Team is in the Class 1 Senior League Semi-Finals this Sunday 16th Away to Sutton 1. Congrats and best of luck to team captain Anna Gunning and all her team. The team would love support if you can make it to Sutton.
Ladies’ 4th Team in Quarter-Finals on Saturday
Our Monkstown Ladies 4th Team won and are through to the Class 4 Senior League Quarter-Finals. The team will be playing At Home this Saturday at 2pm and will be playing Donnybrook 3rd team. Please come down to the club to support.
Monkstown Ladies’ 3rd, 7th and 8th teams had their playoff matches last weekend and lost out in some extremely close battles. Hard luck to captains Rachael Mullett, Siobhain Carney and Caroline Berwick, but well done in getting to the playoff stages of the league.

Men’s Senior League
We wish the men’s first team the best of luck as they play their semi-final away to David Lloyd Riverview this Sunday at 11am.
Men’s Morning will be from 10am to 12 again this Sunday.
Ladies Morning Tennis
The charity league continues with matches being played on Monday and Tuesday mornings. A combination of wins and losses for the teams this week so wishing them all the best for next week.
Ladies Halloween Tournament
Delighted to announce our annual Halloween tournament will be held on wed 26th October. Please hold the date. Sign-up sheet will be on the notice board. Further details to follow

Club Night
Club Night will be going ahead this evening from 8 – 10pm. Do come along and Stephen will provide some coaching support at the beginning of the evening. This is an opportunity to meet and play with members of varying standards and is a relaxed evening of tennis.
