What weather! You needn't go much further than MLTC to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere that the sunshine brings!
A few reminders...
SENIORS: The ever popular Handicap Tournament is almost upon us...deadline for entry is Monday next 5th July. Eoin & Karen are conscious that members are feeling their way with the new system of Entry / Payment - so if you're having difficulty registering don't worry just email your entry details here to the office and they will manually enter you.
A Reminder of the hours of play during July & August:
8am - 9am All Members
9am - 11am Adults Only
11am - 1pm Juniors
1pm - 2pm Adults Only
2pm - 5pm Juniors
JUNIORS: The Junior tennis circuit is underway and we had terrific results from the Carrickmines Open last week.
Cliona Walsh won the Girls U/18 Title - Scott Barron won the Boys U/14 Doubles Title and a super achievement by Rosie Kennedy & Zoe Craig reaching the Final of the U/12's Girls doubles in only their first open tournament together! Congrats all round on brilliant performances.. you sure kept the Monkstown flag flying on Finals Day!
The Juniors are having a super time in the club at the moment...what with Camps & supervised Tennis all is working very well albeit under slight restrictions.
Just a reminder that the deadline for Junior Handicap entries is tomorrow Friday, 2nd July.
Adrienne asked me to remind you that entries must be made through the Handicap registration form and Payment through Easy Payments. Please make sure both entry and payments are made together. Supervised tennis is from 11am - 1pm & 2pm - 5pm with the 4 - 5pm slot reserved for Teenagers.
That's about it for this week...just relax and enjoy the sunshine...& cast an eye on Wimbledon where the great man himself, Fed, is still hanging in!!
