Hi Folks!

Exciting news from Tennis Ireland yesterday afternoon..."Doubles play involving players from different households is allowed from May 10th"  That's a big step forward and will be welcomed by us all...but please remember to arrive at your allotted time - not before! - and vacate your court after 50 minutes.  Siobhan, our Covid officer, would like to remind you to sanitise your hands on arrival in the club and repeat when your game is over....also just one person at a time in the bathroom.  Thanks to all of you for adhering to the guidelines and keeping your distance when in the club.

Juniors;  Good to see the Juniors back in action again - both with their families and getting coaching...by the way, when parents drop their kids for coaching, they must leave the club as part of the Tennis Ireland guidelines. 

I'm still short a few Covid Screening forms which I really need you to return.  Helen Lane, our Website expert, has very kindly put up the Covid form on the website.. just click on  https://www.monkstownltc.com/news/onlinecovidform  -  to fill in the form and submit it to me here in the office...couldn't be easier!  Thanks a mil.

Our Captains, Eoin & Karen, are beavering away in the background with ideas to welcome you all back.

From the happy faces I see, everyone seems so thrilled to be back hitting the old tennis ball again.. and now with doubles being permitted even more of us will be gracing the courts!
