Snippets 18/03/21

Hi Folks!

It's getting closer!  Tennis clubs in the North of Ireland have been given the green light to open on April 1st....but don't hold your breath...just cross your fingers & toes and keep hoping. 

We had very exciting news over the weekend with our own Sarah McAuley being selected to play for Ireland against team GB in hockey, not once, but twice in their three match series played in Belfast.  Sarah represented Ireland at U/16 & U/18 level and was then catapulted straight into the Senior squad. According to reports, Sarah played a blinder in both matches. What a start to your International career Sarah.... no doubt that smiling face is smiling more than ever!!  Andrea you must be a very proud Mummy! 

So tough on poor Garry to be injured for the crucial match against England on Saturday.

Spring has certainly sprung...what beautiful sunshine yesterday.. your club is looking beautiful.
