Hi Folks!

What a difference a week makes...weather wise!  Lets hope the lovely sunny days we've been having haven't gone for good, as we definitely ease into Autumn.

The Winter League is past the midway stage, with just 2 matches left to play. The Ladies teams are progressing very well, with, all going well, a couple of teams heading for the playoffs.  The Men are struggling a bit, but playoffs are still within the reach of the 3rd and 6th teams.. so still all to play for lads!  Only 2 more Sundays of disruption for you guys who come to Men’s Morning on Sundays... 3 Courts booked for you 9am - 11am this Sunday and Sunday week...then back to old times!

Ladies Morning, (Wednesdays 10am - 12noon) is very much up and running with the new Ladies Committee there to welcome you.

Club Night tonight (8pm - 10pm) will be hosted  by our Lady Captain, Karen.  Stephen will again be on hand during the first hour to guide you through any queries you might have to improve your game.

Group Coaching continues...there are a few slots (Ladies) left on both Monday and Wednesday at 9am and Saturday at 5pm.

No doubt our Juniors are well settled back in school....but it's great to see so many doing Coaching and playing in the afternoons...from toddlers (4 year olds!) to our terrific teenagers!  Keep practising and enjoying the tennis and camaraderie.  Good Luck to the Boys / Girls Stars & Stripes teams who play their last match this Saturday.

Watch out for a Newsflash from our Captains tomorrow re a Ladies Doubles box competition to be run during October / November.

That's it for this week....I know we have some Confirmation and first Communicants around now...have a wonderful day for which you've waited a long time to celebrate.

Warm regards

       Judy
