 JUNIOR HANDICAPS

Delighted to say that the Junior Handicaps went very well (bar a rained off morning!) with15 events and 80 matches being played!

 Junior Handicaps Finals day tomorrow,  Friday 12th

Matches will start at 10am with prizegiving after each timeslot.

Please check the day before for your match time.

Please bring along a plate and All Supporters Welcome to this very enjoyable event for our Juniors!

JUNIOR SUPERVISION

Summer Supervision will be back in action next week, hours 11am – 1pm and 2pm – 4pm

Don’t forget to book in on Easy Payments (options 1 week for €10 or €50 for whole summer)

 Can parents please ensure that children check in with Jana or Ellie on arrival and most important that they check out with them when leaving or being collected early.

 

  

CAPTAINS UPDATE – HANDICAPS & WIMBLEDON BBQ

We hope everyone is enjoying the handicaps with quarter

and semi finals over the next few days 

There have been some exciting  matches with many finishing at 4/3 in the 3rd set!

A super atmosphere in the club and the Centre Court Cafe keeping very busy  

 

So sorry to disappoint any of you who missed a place in the sold out BBQ

 

Details will be sent out tomorrow, for finals day and the annual club BBQ at 7pm on Saturday 13th July.

 

Look forward to seeing you at the club tonight and thanks to everyone for your patience and  co-operation and making the tournament such fun 

 

Finally if your match is at 6 15 we would really appreciate it if you could start on time to avoid a back log of matches

THURSDAY - CLUB NIGHT

No Club night this week or next as Senior Handicaps are on.

If you are not playing, why don’t you come down to watch some matches and enjoy the ‘Centre Café’ ambiance! 

 

 

MEN’S MORNING – Sunday Mornings

Men’s morning will take place this week from 10am to 12.   Do come down for a hit and a cuppa and chat after!

 

  

UPDATE  FROM  STEPHEN

Despite the miserable weather, there is great activity in the club with both the Senior and Junior Handicaps being contested with great vigour!

 The Juniors have their Finals Day tomorrow, Friday, with the Senior Finals being played on Saturday.  Pop down and support the players - it's a great achievement to get to a Final.

 On the Junior front, big Congratulations to Mary O'Callaghan on winning the Naas Open U/16 Singles title last weekend. Super to see you win a title, Mary, with all the effort you put into entering the various tournaments.

 Greystones is the venue this week where young Mia Keogh reached the semis of the U/12 singles & Luke Sadlier got to the 1/4's of the U 14 singles..well done to you both!

 Next week the popular East of Ireland 1000 - 200 Junior Open is being held in Sutton.  We have 12 Juniors from Monkstown competing.. best of luck to you all.

 The popular Carrickmines graded tournament is being played this week with 5 members partaking...3 are still standing...Eoin & Jana are in the mixed 1/4 final - and Ellen (Lawless) is in the 1/4's of the singles & semis of the doubles

 TIMES / AGE GROUP:      6 - 10 year olds   10am  -  1pm

                                         11 - 14 year olds      2  -  5 pm
