LADIES SUMMER LEAGUE
With 3 rounds now completed , this week has been more challenging for many of our league teams.
2 teams once again won their third round matches with the other teams securing more points .
With 2 more weeks to go, it's all to play for
Thank you once again to the many subs who are participating in league , some at very short notice and to all the team captains who are doing a great job managing their teams
This would not work without subs and great team captains .
UPDATE FROM THE MEN’S CAPTAIN: Men's Summer League
This last week was a super busy period for the men's league teams. Team 1 (class 1) played twice last weekend picking up two valuable points against Glenageary and Malahide. This concludes the group matches for Team 1. While Team 1 did super well to amass 8 points in the league (and hold ground in their group), a twist of statistical fate means that Team 1 will lose out to Sutton in relation to retaining class 1 summer league status. Many thanks to Stephen O’Shea, Connor Gannon, Scott Barron, Fergus O’Rourke, Michael McMahon, Kevin Wylde, Johnny O’Shea, and the subs for some top performances along the way. This weekend team 3 (class 4) will play Castleknock at home – best of luck Hugo Faughnan and team. Teams 2 and 4 will enjoy a rest until next week.
Home Matches to Watch / Support This Week:
Saturday June 1st at 2pm: Team 3 (Class 4) v Castleknock
====> come along and support our players (and enjoy great tennis too!!).
